Conor McGregor Biography, Net Worth, Wife, Family, Accomplishments, Controversies

Conor McGregor, also known as “The Notorious,” is a polarizing figure in the world of mixed martial arts. He gained notoriety overnight, winning over UFC fans all around the world with his shrewd humor, talent, and bravery in the octagon. His success brought many accolades, including becoming the first fighter in UFC history to hold titles in two weight divisions simultaneously.

Ever since he “dragged Floyd Mayweather out of bed” back in August 2017 and battled the greatest boxer of all time inside a boxing ring, his career in the Octagon has gone on a downward spiral. A year on from that knockout defeat to ‘Money’, McGregor was humbled in a defeat against bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov. He then managed to successfully defeat an aging veteran in the form of Donald Cerrone before being stopped in back-to-back bouts by Dustin Poirier, the second of which saw the Notorious One suffer a gruesome leg break.

He is due to return to action later this year in a bout against the exciting Michael Chandler. The pair have faced off against each other in the UFC’s reality show “The Ultimate Fighter”, which has seen the duo coach opposite each other, mentoring a bunch of fighters all looking to gain a foothold within the world of UFC. While the UFC betting odds haven’t been published for the bout, the battle is expected to be a close one, with both fighters capable of knocking the other out.

However, outside of the Octagon, McGregor has been involved in his fair share of scandals, from legal issues to open conflicts with other fighters. In this article, we will take a closer look at McGregor’s biography, net worth, wife, family, accomplishments, and controversies.
